Barry Smee is a consulting geochemist and geologist based in British Columbia, Canada. He earned a B.Sc. in chemistry and geology from the University of Alberta, and a Ph.D. in geochemistry from the University of New Brunswick under the supervision of Dr. G. J. S. Govett. Barry has worked in academia, government and industry for 43 years, and has operated SAC since 1990. He has promoted the use of Quality Control methods in mineral exploration throughout his career, and specializes in the intelligent use of geochemical methods in covered terrain.
Barry is associated with African Mineral Standards (AMIS) in Johannesburg, CDN Labs in Vancouver, and Target Rocks in Lima who produce Certified Reference Material for the minerals industry. The performance of many of the laboratories throughout the world is continuously evaluated as part of their certification process.

Glenn Marshall
Reno
Glenn has over 30 years’ experience in laboratory management, laboratory and equipment design, ergonomics and process development with major laboratory organizations around the world.
He has a BBA (Accounting, Finance, and Statistics) from Bishop’s University. Glenn has consistently demonstrated a knack for creativity and innovation when it comes to identifying problems, finding solutions and improving process systems. Glenn is the inventor of a patented process that improved productivity, reduced operating costs and increased quality that is now used by the major laboratory groups world-wide. Glenn also designs and builds process management and automated control systems. Glenn is an avid hockey player, enjoys golf and resides in Reno Nevada.
